News: October 2016

For the duration of the week of 17 October 2016, Michael Pedersen published another sport governance series on iSportconnect, the world’s largest online community of sport business executives.
This time, the series was comprised of five articles. The introductory article was focused on the strategic importance and urgency of good governance in sport. Based on the framework offered in that article, the other four articles were focused on highlighting and recognizing evolving good sport governance practices through interviews with selected sport leaders.
The articles in the sport governance series, available for free viewing on iSportconnect’s website, were as follows:
- "The Strategic Importance and Urgency of Good Governance in Sport and What It Is All About" (based on Michael Pedersen's perspectives)
- "Good Governance Leadership in Sport as Showcased by the International Triathlon Union" (based on interview with President Marisol Casado)
