On 13 April 2018, Michael Pedersen facilitated two workshops on good governance in the context of Badminton Europe’s 2018 Members’ Forum. Approx. 100 national badminton federation leaders from across Europe participated in the workshops, mainly presidents and secretary generals. The workshops took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia and were followed by the 2018 Congress of Badminton Europe.

The governance workshops were based on a highly innovative, engaging and participatory design. They offered participants a peer-to-peer opportunity for exploring and further defining evolving good governance practices. On the basis of governance risk mappings, a range of specific governance issues were covered and solutions developed. Throughout the workshops, participants took different stakeholder perspectives.
